Purpose of Membership

​

Islamic Society of Nunavut (ISN) is the main Islamic organization in Iqaluit. ISN provides various programs and services. These include Daily prayers, Juma prayers, Regular Taraweeh prayers, Eid prayers, Dawah and Educational activities. ISN also hosts regular weekly Food Bank, that helps the Iqaluit community at large including Mulsims and Non-Muslims. A membership with ISN bring the exclusive previlage of being able to attend the General Body Meeting, and to be able to hold any position in the board of directors.

ISN has been serving the Muslims and Non-Muslims of Iqaluit since its inception in 2009. There are significant operating costs associated with managing these services as well as maintaining the facility.

The ISN organization is run by the support of members donation. The best way to support the ISN is to become a member and an opportunity to be rewarded by the Allah SWT by donating and supporting the house of Allah SWT.

How to become a Member      

Requirements:

• • If you are a Muslim aged 18 or older and reside in Canada, you are eligible for membership. Non-Muslims may also be eligible, subject to approval by the Board Members in accordance with the Bylaws.

Annual Membership Fee

    $100 Individual
    $150 Couple

​​Membership Deadline:

• You can apply for the Membership at any time of the year

• To be eligible to vote in the AGM, you must be a member in good standing as per the 'ABC Constitution and Bylaws' and have made monthly donations from September to August, with payment completed by August 31st.
